Push-In ELL5th or 6th hour
• Students can come to work in EL room • Mrs. Mendoza can co-teach a lesson • Students can be grouped within the classroom to work with an EL teacher on the lesson |
Monitoring• Students who have passed the WIDA Access test with a 4.8 or higher exit the ELL program.
• These students are monitored 4 years to ensure language is no longer a barrier to their learning. • Students can receive testing accommodations for the first 2 years of monitoring status. • Students can also be reassessed if needed to re-enter the EL program. |
